Linda Nichols is a technologist and conservationist who works at the intersection of the two. Over a 20-plus-year career in enterprise architecture and software development, she has built systems for the Department of Defense, Microsoft, and most recently Salesforce, where she serves as a Data & AI Architect. Alongside that work, Linda is a Certified Master Herpetologist and a licensed wildlife rehabilitator with Southeastern Reptile Conservation (SERC), a Virginia nonprofit dedicated to the conservation of native reptiles and amphibians. She's especially interested in bringing modern data and AI tools to grassroots conservation, making them accessible, affordable, and genuinely useful in the field. A dedicated community builder, she co-founded RevolutionVA, a nonprofit that unites developers across Hampton Roads and Virginia, and has helped organize its conferences, including RevolutionConf and Hampton Roads DevFest. Linda holds a bachelor's degree from Old Dominion University and a master's from Virginia Tech, and is a proud Monarch and Hokie both. She can be reached at lynnaloo@gmail.com.
